To Read Your Lips and Not Find Words

I don't kiss you to kiss
I kiss you to feel you
Kissing you is another way
to read the book
that is you.
Each kiss is a word,
some words are short
and common, like 'the'
or 'and'
some kiss words
are longer and common
like 'community'
or 'magazine'
some word kisses
are somewhat rare like
'biotechnology,' and I like
these long kisses
what I most like finding
the rarest of all
are the kisses

that leave me speechless,
or wordless,
being me, being her
we still search for the
words that match these
ethereal, indescribable

kisses, I, she,
shall someday find
kisses so inexplicable
our minds will find
the search itself

wordless.

That is the bliss
the true ultimate kiss
I shall miss.
